ABOUT

I am a dedicated hobbyist photographer having been a professional/semi-professional photographer in the recent past specialising in portraiture and weddings. Having now retired I am now free to indulge in my photography for pleasure and to give something back to the art that is given so much to me over the years. I am based in Mid-Cornwall and usually confine shooting to Cornwall.

 

​Operating as KernowPhoto a non-commercial venture, I aim to maintain the high standards and provide the quality of service that one would expect of a qualified and experienced professional but without the associated costs. I am an award winning and much published photographer having been featured in numerous magazines and in the local and national press.

 

The vast majority of my work now is TFP, (Time for Portfolio), meaning that I work for free and models to work for free also. The trade off is that both model and photographer get quality images which both are able to use in their portfolio, on social media and in any non-commercial setting providing all involved in the shoot are credited. I am equally at home shooting 'on location' making the most of the Cornish landscape and I also have access to studio facilities.
